Grimalakt Grimtideson ('Grim')
Background
Grimalakt was born into an extended family of seafaring dwarves who settled on the shores of Varisia shortly before he was born. The small coastal dwarfhold in which he was raised was attacked by giants when he was very young. His parents died defending the hold, which had a profound effect on young Grim: he now hates giants of all types. The survivors trained for combat against giants, to prevent such a tragedy from ever happening again. Having now reached adulthood, Grim has sharpened his great-axe and headed to Sandpoint amid rumours of an imminent giant incursion.
